What is Fromo
Fromo is a gamified NFT liquidity protocol built on bera chain where users can initiate fromo games by staking their NFT. The fromo games open at a fixed time every day.
Creating a Fromo game
NFT sellers bid on the daily game plot in OMO tokens back after bidding ends. The auction duration is 16 hours and the winner has an 8 hour window to select the NFT for the game. Failure to stake any NFTs will result in losing the $ OMO they bid for the plot.
Fromo game rules
- Each NFT game lasts at least 24 hours
- Players participate by minting keys (pay in ETH)
- Players can only mint 10% of the current key supply
- Each key mint extends the auction by 30 seconds
- The ETH used to mint keys are added to the prize pool
Prize pool distribution
When the game ends, the ETH in the prize pool is distributed as following:
- 20% of pool distributed to key holders by weight
- 20% of pool distributed to the final bidder
- 50% of pool distributed to the NFT provider
- 10% of pool distributed to protocol
NFT pool
After a fromo game, the NFT that was originally staked is available to purchase via the NFT pool. The user who minted the most keys has exclusive access to the pool for 24 hours. The price of each NFT in the pool is calculated by n * 1.1 where n = total keys minted. After this window, the NFT pool is accessible to all users.
